4th Day- Our True Business

On 4th day, we came to our true business in china - visiting the university.  Actually, we planning to go there early but some technical problems were happened. So we have to postpone our tour.
UNIVERSITY OF ELECTRONIC SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF CHINA (UESTC). It is very big university - i think 3 times bigger than our university, USM

Campus atmosphere.........

With Deepa and Miss Suzy

Since we were given only one day, so not much activities that we were doing there.

Introduction speech from both universities.........

Cultural performance.....

Here, we performed two dances - "Kadazandusun" and " Joget Lambak". At the same time, we also wore our traditional clothes. Nevertheless, at the end of the performance, we invite UESTC's students to dance with us :) and they enjoyed it!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, not much pictures that I can share because all of us were busy with our dance. Even though we were all quite awkward when dancing, but we all feel satisfied and happy because we've made the best and the students there are happy to see our performances :)

Visit around the campus......

We tour around the campus by the students there. They are all kind and friendly. We also were entertained with spontaneously by one of the student. He has talent in playing the guitar and he sang several songs for us.

A lots of things that we share together.........Hope our friendship will be last forever :)

Next, we went to a place nearer to Tianfu Square where the people are all Muslims. I am very happy to meet with my brothers and sisters there. Most unforgettable memory was that I met with my sister. Her name is Aisyah. She is very nice and beautiful girl. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures with her and we just talked about a few minutes because she is rushing to another place. But I will remember her in my heart. Hope we will meet again, Aisyah.

Without releasing the opportunity, we tried all halal food there. The most popular food is lamb's satay - it's about 2 yuan.

2nd Day in China....

On the second day, we walked to Zongfu road. It took about 20 minutes walk from our hotel. Zongfu road is one of the most famous place in Chengdu. Near the Zongfu road, there is a place called Chunxi Road. It is a main shopping street and of course a shopping paradise. Luxury boutiques like Zara, Gucci and branded goods such as Nike, Levy's, Adidas, polo, Crocodile all available in one place. The most amazing is the price much cheaper than in Malaysia - about half the price in Malaysia.

Next destination is Tiangfu Square:

Tianfu Square is the center of downtown Chengdu. Prominent on one side of the square is a large statue of the former leader Mao Zedong. Behind him is the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum.

In the middle of Tianfu Square is the Central Metro Station. It is below street level in a open circle shape space.

Spectacular are the 'dancing' water fountains with coloured lights and music. Especially in the evening, Tianfu attracts a lot of people.
